Randall Sturgeon Invitational

We are pleased to announce that on Saturday, March 10, 2018, we will host the 4th Randall Sturgeon Invitational. The meet will be held at Granite Bay High School and will feature an all weather track and FinishLynx timing system.
Format: There are 4 divisions of competition – varsity boys/girls and F/S boys/girls. Each school will be allowed 3 entries in all events except the 1600m and the 3200m which will be allowed 4 entries. There is only 1 entry per relay (4X100 and 4X400).
We will continue with minimum marks in the throwing and horizontal jumps this year. All athletes will receive 4 attempts. The first attempt will be measured as usual. The following 3 attempts will need to meet the minimum required distance in order to obtain a measurement.
Awards: Custom medals will be provided for 1st through 3rd and ribbons for 4th - 6th place in all individual events. Plaques will be awarded to the 1st place teams in all 4 divisions. All medals will be handed to a coach at the end of the meet at the press box
Entry Fees: Entry Fee is due by March 10, 2018
In order to conduct a smooth and exciting track and field meet, the event will be limited to the first 25 teams who contact Coach Nasca by email. Teams will be notified by email of acceptance. Additional information concerning entering your athletes online at athletic.net will be emailed to each accepted school two weeks prior to the meet.
