Team Entrance Fee: $100 for both teams (boys and girls) $50 for one team (boys or girls)

Spectators Entrance Fee: $5 for all, Free for children under 10

Awards: Medals will be given to all 1st place finishers, Ribbons to 2nd-3rd place in each event.

Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place boys team, 1st place girls team and the combined boys and girls team.

A track MVP award will be given to one male and female athlete

A field MVP award will be given to one male and female athlete

The Jean Licari Memorial Pole Vault a award will be awarded to the top finisher in the boys and girls vault.

Coaches Information: A coaches meeting will be held at 8:50 a. m.

ENTERING ATHLETES FOR THE MEET MUST BE DONE THROUGH ATHLETIC.NET BY WEDNESDAY April 25th  . AFTER THAT DATE ALL ADDITIONS AND SUBTRACTIONS MUST BE DONE AT THE COACHES MEETING

 

Locker Rooms: They will be available but we are not responsible for valuables. No towels will be provided.

 

Hospitality Room: A coaches hospitality room will be available for all coaches.  We have had a top notch hospitality room in the past.  This year it should be even better!  Coffee, tea and hot cider in the morning, with donuts, muffins and other breakfast items.  Also, lunch will be served with a variety of crock pot meals

 

 

Race Information:

Events- Two entrants will be allowed in each event

Relays- One team per school in each relay event

Freshman/sophomore events- We will allow up to 4 athletes in the freshman sophomore events

Participants- All participants are to report to the clerk, in the middle of the field. (failure to report will result in disqualification)

Lanes- Runners will be seeded according to times listed on the entry form. Fastest times will be placed in the First heats.

 

Field Information:

Long Jump/Triple Jump- each jumper gets 4 attempts (no finals, open pit)

High Jump- Starting height for boys will be 5’4”, 4’0” for girls

Pole Vault- Starting heights will be boys at 8’3” , 7’3” for girls

Javelin/Shot Put/Discus- Each thrower gets 4 attempts (no finals)

In all field events, competitors have one minute to begin their attempts at a trial or pass. The athlete must announce his/her intention to pass when called up. After one minute an unsuccessful attempt is charged. In the pole vault, competitors will have 90 seconds to begin their attempts. Athletes must check in with the head judge at the event before the event begins. If athletes check in after the event has begun they will not be allowed to compete. All field event areas will be open for warm up 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, under the supervision of the head judge. The warm ups will end ten minutes before the event starts.

***Update*** 

The consrtuction crew did not install the rings for the shot put at this point.  We will email coaches the shot put results sheet so your throwers may compete at your home facility.  Please bring your results and we will enter them into athletic.net.  Please enter your throwers into athletic.net in the shot so we can record their marks.  All other throwing events (javelin and discus will be on the field)

 

Clerking Information

All competitors must check with the Clerk of the course at the Clerk’s tent by the second call of their event. The Clerks tent will be located at the 50 yard line of the field.

If athletes are participating in a field event and need to check out to go to another event they must check out with their field event head judge. The athlete must check back within 15 minutes from the time they check out at the discus and javelin and 10 minutes from the horizontal jumps, high jump, pole vault and shot put. The athlete must notify the head event judge when they return.

 

Cell phones, IPODS, MP3 players will be prohibited in the competition area (the infield, the track and the field event areas)

 

Uniform Rules: All state uniform rules will be in effect.

 

Time Schedule: We will start each event as the preceding one finishes. All times for the running events are approximates.
