TVC Middle School CC Conference Meet

Teams: Swan Valley (1), Bullock Creek (2), Carrollton (3), Hemlock (4), Ithaca (5), Nouvel (6), Standish-Sterling (7), St. Louis (8), Alma (9), Birch Run (10), Rittmueller (Frankenmuth) (11), Cramer (Garber) (12), and Freeland (13)

 

Entry Deadlines: All runners must be entered in Athletic.net by 

Sunday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m.

Times:  

3:00 p.m. Team Arrival

 

4:00 p.m. MS Boys (Top 5)

 

4:30 p.m. MS Girls (Top 5)

 

5:00 p.m. MS Boys Reserved Race (7 Runners)

 

5:30 p.m. MS Girls Reserved Race (7 Runners)

 

6:00 p.m. Coach Timed Reserved Race for any runner not in the top 12 (these runners do not have to be entered into atheltic.net)

Awards: Awards will be given to each league school at the TVC A.D. meeting on November 11th.

Course: Loop and a half course, relatively flat and fast. It will be marked by paint and flags (please see attached course map and team area by corresponding numbers).

Timer and Starter: Gordie Aldrich (Aldrich Timing Company) and Kurt Ballien

Parking: Each vehicle is $5 and will be directed by the Swan Valley High School Cross Country Team to park in a designated area at the front of Roberts Park.  Buses are to drop each team off and park at Swan Valley High School until the event is over. The high school is less than a half mile away at 8400 O’Hern Rd..

Bathrooms: There will be 7 port-a-johns laid out throughout the park close to each team area. The main bathrooms in the pavilion will also be open.

Information Table and Pack Pick-up: There will be an information table and packet pick-up for each team under the main pavilion by the soccer field.

 

Safety: Each athlete is allowed 2 spectators. Please respect this. We simply ask that you

follow this request. Also, spread out on the course as much as possible. Spectators will

be required to wear masks. This is non-negotiable. If they are not wearing a mask, they   will be asked to leave. We are also asking that you practice social  distancing.  We will also have people enforcing this rule or you will be asked to leave. NO SPECTATORS IN THE  TEAM AREA! Please follow these guidelines. 

Athletes: Stay in your team area except when running (warm up/race/cool down).  Athletes are expected to wear masks when not running. Please report to the start line 10 minutes before the race. Take masks off in the team area before heading to the starting area. After coming through the finish chute, please proceed directly back to the team area and put on a mask.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me:
