St. Johns Last Chance Meet

What:             

This is a meet specifically for runners who have not qualified for state finals and would like one last chance to run a PR for the season.

 Date:     

Wednesday 11/4.

Race Time--Race times have changed

  • Boys at 4:00
  • Girls at 4:30 (or conclusion of the boys race)
  • If the number of entries allow, we may combine both the boys and girls races and run at 4:45 as we have in past years. This decision will be made the week of the race and commnicated to coaches. 

 Where:  

Uncle John's Cider Mill

Course:

We will run in the upper orchard which has the best chance of being dry. The course is two loops and flat, mostly firm ground. 

Cost:  

$50 per school.

Awards:         

Awards are presented not based on place, but rather based on time.  Any runner who runs a PR will            receive a medal. It will be up to the coaches to track this.  At the awards presentation the coaches will            announce their runners and hand out medals.

Results:         

Timing will be done by Chuck Block and the Michigan Running Foundation. No official team scores will be kept.  A print sheet of finish times will be posted and runners will be given a place number in the finish chute.

Entries must be submitted by Monday 11/2 to athletic.net.
